Oregon, WI- Teams competing weekly in the NASCAR Late Model, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandit divisions at Madison International Speedway have some added incentives heading into the 2019 race season at ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’. Those Late Model and MISfitz teams competing in the first two NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events of 2019 (May 17 and May 31) will receive a complimentary tire courtesy of Hoosier Racing Tire during the third weekly event (June 7). Additionally, any Bandit driver competing in both kick-off events will receive a $50 bonus following the June 7 program.

“We know if has been a long, drawn out winter, this gives our teams a little added incentive to get out into the shop and have their cars ready for opening night on May 17.” Noted MIS owner Gregg McKarns. “With a new tire this year (Hoosier D-800) and new weekly division (MISfitz), there is a lot to look forward to heading into our weekly Friday night programs here.” McKarns added that he felt the on-track product will be top notch this season, likely the best since he and his wife Angie purchased the facility prior to the 2015 season.

The new purse structure for all three NASCAR divisions was also released. In addition to the over $13,500 in point fund checks provided through NASCAR each season, teams can now take advantage of an 8% increase in the nightly purse.
