Tractors and Trucks Take Center Stage Tonight at MIS

The infield pulling surface will come alive tonight when the Badger State Tractor Pullers and Tri County Mini-Rods come to MIS.  Gates will open at 5:00 PM with the first pull slated for 6:00 PM.

Three divisions (466 Hot Farm, Super Farm, and 4×4 Diesel Trucks) will highlight the Badger State action while a full program of Tri County Mini-Rods battle it out as well.

So you’re a racing fan…what does all of this mean?  The 466 Hot Farm Tractor is 9,500 pounds and is allowed to run one limited size turbo charger on 3 inch inlet / 3 inch outlet.  They are limited to 466 cubic inches maximum with original equipment block, cylinder head, intake and exhaust manifolds.  They are limited to diesel fuel only with an in-line P-Pump injection pump with 20.8 x 38 tires with unlimited RPMs.

The Super Farm tractor is 9,300 pounds and is also allowed to run one limited turbo charger with an intercooler to help produce anywhere from 1,200 to 1,400 horse power.  These tractors run 640 cubic inches maximum with original equipment block, cylinder head, and exhaust manifold.  A custom intake manifold is allowed along with gas or diesel fuel.  The class runs a 24.5 x 32.5 tire limit.  (All information provided)

The Mini-Rods will keep you on the edge of your seat with their high energy.  These smaller counterparts to their Badger State relatives will amaze you with the amount of power they pack.

Come out to MIS tonight for exciting tractor and truck pulling action.
