The night belongs to the kids this Friday at Madison International Speedway.
Bobcat of Janesville proudly presents Kids’ Night this Friday. There will be free admission for all kids 11 and under plus the annual candy scramble on the front stretch during intermission. Plus, all fans young and old are invited down to the track after qualifying for an opportunity to meet the drivers and get autographs.
Four racing divisions are in action including the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Pellitteri Waste Systems, and the Bandoleros. Zack Riddle is the current point leader in the Late Models thanks to four feature wins this season. Following Riddle in the top five are Bobby Wilberg, Shaun Scheel, Stephen Scheel, and Kevin Knuese. Thanks to Bobcat of Janesville, the Late Model feature will pay $1000 to the winner.
Ray Hellenbrand is the current leader in the MISfitz followed by Mason Hellenbrand, Rick Coppernoll, Mike Taylor, and Tim Wondrash. Multi-time champion Nick Schmidt shows the way in the Bandits with Bart Brockmann, Nick Newton, Trent Rueth, and Dave Schmidt rounding out the top five. The Bandoleros are back at Madison for the second time this season with Cohen Henze taking home the checkered flag in their June appearance.
Pit gates open at 3:30 with practice at 5:00, qualifying at 6:15, and the first race at 7:30. Adult admission is $15.00 with Whelen Heroes / Seniors $12.00, Students 12-17 are $8.00 and a Family Pass that’s good for two adult admissions and up to four students is just $30.00.
