
This Friday night is the 2025 Weekly Racing Season Opener at Madison International Speedway. Four exciting divisions will be in action including the Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Roto Rooter 6Shooters plus the visiting Hobby Stocks. It’s also $2 Busch Light Night at the speedway.
Many new drivers will be joining the talented roster of weekly stars in 2025 in what will definitely be a tight race throughout the season for the points championship in the four weekly divisions.
Fans will also be able to choose from a great selection of food including some new menu items along with a variety of beverages for all ages.
There have been more than sixty opening nights / days here on Sunrise Road dating back to 1952 when the Oregon Legion Speedway opened and continuing with Capital Speedway, Capital Super Speedway, IMPACT Speedway, and Madison International Speedway.

Riddle enters the 2025 season with 39 feature wins (Late Models and Madison Late Models)
Last year high school student Waylon Robinson set a new track record for the Hobby Stocks on the Ring of Fire with a lap of 13.926 in August.
Last Year on Opening Night
Zack Riddle swept both features for the Late Models, Dan Snyder doubled up in the MISfitz as did Karter Stark in the Midwest Dash. Dylan Klinger and Josh Morris each picked up a win in the 6Shooters.
Looking Back to May 4th
Casey Johnson won the Joe Shear Classic and picked up $15,000 for his efforts before a large and enthusiastic crowd on a perfect day for racing. Eugene Gregorich III won the 36 lap feature for the Midwest Truck Series.
Upcoming Events in May
May 23rd: Three visiting divisions travel to Madison with the Big 8 Late Models, Mid-Am Racing Series, and Midwest Dash. Drivers from five states are expected to make the trip to Madison. The first 500 kids will receive a free checkered flag.
May 30th: Double Features for the Late Models, MISfitz, 6Shooters plus the visiting Bandits. 2 for 1 admission with coupon
