It’s time to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors as Spring is definitely in the air today at Madison International Speedway with the Super Sunday Street Drags taking center stage on the 300 foot dragstrip. A forecast of temperatures in the mid-60s and sunshine guarantees a fun afternoon for competitors and fans alike.
There will be more than a dozen divisions in action meaning that if you have a vehicle there’s more than likely a division for you. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more will battle it out for bragging rights today as well as during monthly racing that continues through September.
Perfect weather means a large field will be on hand in an attempt to break the single day competition record of 284 vehicles set last fall.
It’s affordable fun for both competitors and fans with pit passes just $10.00 (Under 18 needs completed minors release (parent or guardian signature) for pit area, available at gate or our website.
All bracket entry fees are just $10.00 per division (if eligible, vehicles may compete in more than one division), and just $10.00 for grandstand admission with children 11 and under admitted free. A “Family” ticket which includes two adults and up to four students (ages 12-17) for just $30.00 is also available.
Bring your appetite and thirst as food and beverages of all types will be available. The speedway is very excited about introducing the Dr. Pepper Snapple group along with a complete line of Budweiser products.
Pit gates open at Noon with practice and grudge racing starting at 1:00 and bracket racing beginning at 2:00 PM. The popular Shine n Show contest will also take place.
