Here is the latest from your favorite short track, Madison International Speedway. The place to be for “Racing Under the Lights on Friday Nights.” The only way to experience the excitement is to experience it live and in person.
It’s Round Two of the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge
The Super Late Models are back on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile this Friday night as part of a huge night of racing and fun. The Super Lates will join the three weekly NASCAR sanctioned divisions at Madison for an action packed night of excitement. The Club LaMark Late Models, Dave’s White Rock Sportsman, and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits will be battling it out on track as the race for the points championship really starts to heat up.
Ty Majeski was the winner in Round One back in June and has won three of the last four races over the past two seasons in addition to the Joe Shear Classic for the ARCA Midwest Tour in May. Majeski tops the standings with 117 points but only five points ahead of both Casey Johnson and Austin Nason. Rounding out the top five are Jeff Storm and Jeremy Miller.
But picking a winner on Friday night might not be so easy as several newcomers are expected to make their way to the Town of Rutland.
But there’s more than just great racing as it’s Kids’ Night on Friday with all children eleven and under admitted free. Plus during intermission the kids will be invited down to the track for the First Supply $1000 Coin Scramble.
Pit gates open at 3:30 with practice at 5:00, qualifying at 6:15, and racing at 7:30. Adult ticket prices are $18.00 / Seniors and Whelen Heroes are $16.00 / Students (12-17) are $10.00 / Kids 11 and under are free. Take advantage of “Family Pricing” for two adults and up to four students / children for just $40.00.
As always, you can take your ticket stub to Dave’s White Rock Tavern on Highway 14 after the races on Friday night and receive your second drink free.
