Friday Night Rewind

Once again Mother Nature had other plans for us this past Friday night as lightning, high winds, and heavy rains moved in on the track sooner than expected putting an early end to a big night of racing.  Jason Thoma was declared the winner in the Dave’s White Rock Sportsman Badgerland Challenge after the race was called with 13 of 20 laps completed.

Features for the Bandits, 6Shooters, and the Badgerland Challenge for the Late Models will be made up at a later date.

Nearly 100 vehicles were in the pits on Thursday night for the One on One Street Drags only to have rain disrupt the plans for a night of fun.  The next event for the street drags will be Thursday, July 14th.

Salute to America Night is June 24th

It’s one of the most anticipated events of the year at Madison and it will cap off a huge month of June.  The Salute to America Night is Friday, June 24th and features the Big 8 Late Models, Great Northern Sportsman Series,  and Midwest Dash Series.  The skies above the speedway will also light up compliments of ThunderCat Fireworks with the area’s biggest and best fireworks extravaganza.

That’s all for now.  Keep up to date on everything at Madison by checking out our website at misracing.com or on Facebook and Twitter @MISRacing
