The division that made racing at Madison famous returns to Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile in 2016 with the fifth annual Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge.

Round one of the Triple Crown Challenge will take place on Friday, June 17th and kicks  off a gigantic racing weekend at Madison.  Not only will the Super Late Models be in action on Friday night, but they will be joined by the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Models, Dave’s White Rock Sportsman, and Midwest Trucks.  The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards will be here on Sunday, June 19th for the Montgomery Ward 200.

The Challenge returns on Friday, July 22nd and concludes on Friday, August 20th with the  Howie Lettow Memorial.  The Howie Lettow Memorial race moved to Madison in 2015 after three years running at the famous Milwaukee Mile.  Ty Majeski won last year’s race with Erik Jones (2014), Kyle Busch (2013), and Travis Sauter (2012) previous winners of the race named in honor of the long-time crew chief.

Each race is scheduled for 50 action packed  laps.  A very competitive field of drivers from five states  is already lining up to battle it out for the 2016 championship.

Jeremy Miller was the overall champion in 2015 with Majeski picking up two wins and one for Casey Johnson.  Previous champions include Chris Wimmer (2014), Johnson (2013), and Nathan Haseleu (2012).

Rules will basically follow those of the ARCA Midwest Tour and can be accessed on this link.
