Unfortunately tonight’s May 18 Dr. Pepper Season Opener has been rained out. Ticket stubs will be honored at value for any future MIS Friday night in 2018. From the McKarns family, thank you for your support and see you at the races! Midwest Tour is at Wausau’s State Park tomorrow/Saturday, first race 6pm.

Mother Nature had other plans for Madison International Speedway’s season opener tonight as light rain began falling after the completion of the dash races. Despite efforts to dry the track, a steady mist continued forcing track officials to make the call to cancel the racing program for the night.

Next Friday night is Buck Night at Madison with concessions just $1.00 and beer for $2.00. It’s also the first of four races for the Badgerland Challenge for the Late Models and Sportsman. This year features two races at Madison and two at the Jefferson Speedway. The Bandits and Hobby Stocks will also be in action along with the Midwest Compact Series. The Midwest Compact Series is a four cylinder division that will compete on the half-mile. Qualifying begins at 6:15 with racing at 7:30.
