Racing and Booms Return to MIS on August 2nd

Action on and above Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile is back!

The Big 8 Late Models return to Madison International Speedway on Friday, August 2nd along with the area’s biggest and best fireworks display presented by Thunder Cat.  The Midwest Trucks and Vintage Cars will also be part of this exciting night of family fun at MIS.

This event was originally scheduled for Friday, June 28th but early evening rains put an early end to the program.

“This is a big event and people were really looking forward to it,” said MIS General Manager Dave Grueneberg.  “Unfortunately we didn’t get cooperation from the weather so we’re happy that everything came together to run this event again.”
