Oregon, WI- This Friday night September 8 will feature carnage of all degrees at Madison International Speedway during the annual Pellitteri Waste Systems Night of Destruction. Both Tailgator and Mechanical Mischief Monster Trucks will return to MIS and for the first time ever, fans can see Super Trike, a three wheeled Monster Machine. A variety of thrilling events will be capped off by the ‘Area’s Biggest and Best Aerial and Ground Fireworks Display’.

Unlike indoor venues, MIS allows all 800 horsepower of these Monster Trucks to be put on display. The speed and high flying action of the freestyle competition in the outdoor arena is unmatched in the Madison market. Tailgator is a National Champion truck, driver Doug Noelke has created quite the fan following away from his Missouri home, and the Madison fans have really taken a liking to him. Likewise, Rockford’s Jim Burns has come into his own with the Mechanical Mischief Monster Truck. Known for his extreme wheelie capabilities, Burns set a new wheelie record last September here at Madison. Super Trike was recently brought back onto the circuit, having been on display at eh International Monster Truck Hall of Fame. Rich Cummings and his Supercharged, fuel injected, alcohol burning Hemi Engine Super Trike were part of Paul McCartney’s Super Bowl halftime performance and have performed coast to coast, in Hawaii’s Aloha Stadium and for our friends to the North in Canada.

Scary Gary will make his triumphant return as the School Bus Destruction looks to finish off the MIS School Bus. Two Motorhome jumps the last two seasons has not been enough, what will be destroyed this year? A Double Steel Wall Crash also awaits the local stuntman extraordinaire. Slide Society Drifters will be performing with multiple vehicles in the pop culture sport which has migrated to the Midwest from the West Coast. Additionally, the popular Vertical Mischief Motorcycle Riders will be performing stunts around ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’ this Friday Night.
The Roto Rooter 6shooters will compete in four different race events on Friday night. In addition to their heat races and double features, they will also have a Flagpole Race. The first time novelty event will bring you to the edge of your seat as drivers dive in and out of the infield. The popular entry level division continues to grow, allowing many to get their first laps in a racecar for a minimal investment.

Those wishing to become involved will have two opportunities during the Night of Destruction. Street legal cars can tackle the Ring of Fire quarter mile track during the one on one Spectacular Drags. Car and driver will go head to head from a standing start in the double elimination process. All you need is a street legal car, valid Driver’s License and a helmet. The Smokey Burnout Competition also allows a variety of vehicles to ‘Burn ‘em down’ during a smoke filled, rubber burning display of raw horsepower.
