Oregon, WI- Twelve different weather models all show rain with likely severe weather moving over Madison International Speedway this evening, not allowing for completion of racing activities for Friday May 13, forcing the postponement of Opening Night. Double Features will now be scheduled for next Friday night May 20 with each NASCAR Late Model feature paying $1,000 to win courtesy of Trace My Space and Powersource Racing Engines.

“In our history at MIS, we have only gotten one Opening Night in since 2015, so it stands to reason that we would have to postpone again on Friday the 13th.” Noted Speedway co-owner Gregg McKarns. “We look forward to getting cars back on track next Friday night during $10 night.” Admission prices are $10 for adults, while students ages 12-17 are $8, kids 6-11 are $5 with children ages 5 and under admitted free on $10 Night, Friday May 20.

The May 20 racing card will feature the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits and Round One of the Hobby Stock Challenge. Pit Gates open at 3:30pm, Practice starts at 5pm, Spectator Gates open at 6pm with qualifying at 6:15pm and racing begins at 7:30pm.
