Dale Nottestad leads the way in the Morrison’s Auto Parts Dash Series for the Rockweiler Insulation Late Models at Madison International Speedway.
Nottestad now has 59 points and leads Zack Riddle who is in second place with 45 points. Kevin Knuese is in third with 35 followed by Casey Johnson with 25 and Bobby Wilberg with 18. Other drivers who have earned points include John Baumeister Jr. (12), Chuck Garetson (10), Don Wickstrum (5), Steve Rubeck and Nathan Oppliger (2), and Shane Morrissey (1).
Each Dash event is six laps for the fastest six qualifiers and awards points that are not affiliated with the season points championship. The point system used is 10,7,5,3,2,1.
Nottestad has picked up three wins this season while Riddle, Knuese, Baumeister Jr., Wilberg, and Johnson each have one win.
