Wisconsin Short Track Superstar Ty Majeski dominated the opening round of the ASA STARS National Tour Wisconsin Doubleheader Friday Night, winning the Capital 200 at Madison International Speedway.

Majeski, the inaugural ASA STARS National Tour champion in 2023, piloted his familiar #91 Ford to a 3.62 second margin of victory, roughly the length of a straight-a-way. He inherited the point on lap 64 after early race leader and STARS points leader Cole Butcher made contact with the turn 3 wall. Once in front, Majeski dominated, pacing the final 136 circuits.

Casey Roderick placed 2nd, holding off a spirited challenge from Austin Nason and Caden Kvapil, over the closing 20 circuits. The podium finish for Nason was his career best in the STARS Naitonal Tour, as was the fourth place run a career best for Kvapil.

Levon Van Der Geest rounded out the top five, in his first ASA STARS National Tour race of 2024.
