Oregon, WI- New for the 2016 race season, Madison International Speedway will offer the Whelen Hero Ticket, a discounted ticket for past and serving members of our Nation’s Military as well as current Police, Fire and EMT employees at each event held at ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’. The Whelen Hero ticket joins the popular Family Pricing introduced last season which allows for two adults and up to four students or children to be admitted to the race events.

“The Family Pricing became more popular as our season went along last year.” Stated Madison International Speedway owner Angie McKarns. “While attending the NASCAR Awards Banquet in Charlotte, Whelen honored a group of fire fighters from Ohio and it was a fantastic gesture on their part. We wanted to extend that courtesy to the heroes in our community.” The Whelen Hero ticket discount can be received by simply showing proper identification at the ticket window each event.
