Oregon, WI- It won’t only be the cars on ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’ garnering the attention this season at Madison International Speedway. Area car clubs and groups that would like to hold a Friday night outing at the Oregon speed-plant to show off their automobiles are invited to do so.

“There are great looking cars all around the area and some great groups,” Madison International Speedway’s Gregg McKarns stated. “A lot of those folks haven’t been here in a while or have never been to our track, this gives them the perfect excuse to come check out what we are doing each and every Friday night, while showing off their rides to thousands of people.”

Booking a night for your car club is simple: contact McKarns at 608-835-9700 or email him at gm@misracing.com to book your club’s date. Each club’s appearance will be publicized in advance, with each car getting to tour the high banked half mile prior to feature racing action and everyone will enjoy a fun filled night of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action. For just $40 per car, club members will receive two admission tickets, the parade lap experience and they will enjoy the races from one of two Party Pavilions at MIS, complete with food and Pepsi beverages.

Madison International Speedway is a family owned and operated, NASCAR Sanctioned facility just south of Highway 138 between Stoughton and Oregon and is located at 1122 Sunrise Road, Oregon, WI. The horsepower comes to life on Sunday afternoon April 30 for the Super Sunday Spring Street Drags, followed by oval track racing getting underway Sunday afternoon May 7 for the Joe Shear Classic 200 presented by SCAG Power Equipment. Weekly Friday night stock car racing takes center stage beginning on Friday May 19 with Street Drags scheduled for the second Thursday of each month.
