Oregon, WI- Officials released the tire procedures for the upcoming Triple Crown Challenge at Madison International Speedway. In an effort to allow more teams to compete with tires they are familiar with, Super Late Model teams will be allowed a choice of any of the common Hoosier Racing Tire combinations in the Midwest Region. The popular F-25/F-48, F-40/F-50 and 3035/3045 combinations will be allowed with no mixing permitted between combinations.

“Certain teams have a comfort level and stock pile of practice tires associated with each compound and realistically all three options have been proven across the region for nearly a decade and in some cases longer.” commented Speedway owner Gregg McKarns. “This should allow teams the freedom to choose what suits their car and driver the best.” Whichever tire combination is chosen by teams for qualifying will be the exact tires that teams utilize for the entire night.

The Triple Crown Challenge begins Friday night June 5 as Colony Brands presents a full night of action which will also include the Dave’s White Rock Sportsman and Vores Compact Touring Series in addition to the Super Late Models. Round II will see the Bobcat of Janesville 50 highlight the July 10 program with the Title Round taking place Friday August 21 during American Ethanol Ag Night at the Races.
