Madison International Speedway Serves Up Sensational 2025 Season

Oregon, WI- Madison International Speedway has released their schedule for the upcoming 2025 race season at the rural Wisconsin racing facility. A great mix of weekly racing, street drags and special events have filled the season schedule on the paved half mile oval, quarter mile ‘Ring of Fire’ and 300 foot Street Drag Strip. Entering its eleventh year under the ownership of the McKarns Family, the MIS schedule offers one of the most diverse schedules for motorsports enthusiast.

The Super Late Models will embark on ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’ three times this season, with a pair of $15,000 to Win events. The 18th annual Joe Shear Classic 200 will take place on Sunday afternoon May 4 featuring the ‘Stars and Cars’ of the ASA Midwest Tour battling for the $15,000 top prize. The Midwest Tour returns to MIS for the $5,000 to win Howie Lettow Classic 100 on Friday Night July 25. The Midwest Truck Series will join the Midwest Tour Super Late Models for both of these marquee events.

A return visit by the ASA STARS National Tour will kick-off their Wisconsin Father’s Day Weekend Swing at MIS Friday Night June 13. The National Super Late Model tour will feature drivers from throughout the Nation and Canada in their high powered machines. The night will also be highlighted by Weekly Late Model racing and a pre-race on-track autograph session.

Friday Night weekly racing will begin on May 16 with Championship Night on August 15. Over twelve $1,000 to Win Weekly Late Model events are scheduled for 2025 as well as a dozen feature events for the Dave’s White Rock MISfitz. The Roto-Rooter 6shooters will take to the ‘Ring of Fire’ quarter-mile track on six event nights, for eleven feature events.

A Monster Truck Showdown on June 6 will be the first of three Kids Nights which offer free admission for ages 11 and under. Other promotions include the popular $2 Busch Light Night, Checkered Flag Night, High School Night, 2 for 1 admission night and the Racers’ Reunion/Senior Night.

New to the schedule for 2025 is the ‘Fast Cars and Freedom 76’, twin 38-lap features for the Late Models which will each pay $1776 to the winner on Friday June 20. The growing MISfitz division will also contest double features. The night will be capped off by the Area’s Biggest and Best Fireworks Display. Fireworks are also scheduled to follow the Championship Night in August.

Following a five year absence, the ARCA Menards Series has again included MIS on their ultra-competitive schedule. The National Stock Car Series begins their season in February at Daytona International Speedway and will crisscross the United States prior to their lone Wisconsin visit on Friday night August 22.

2025 will again see the Big 8 Late Models and Mid-Am Series visit MIS twice, May 23 and August 1 during the Union 464 Kids Night. Other visiting divisions, many which are part of the 5th annual Cheese Curd Cup on August 8 include the Midwest Dash, Hobby Stocks, Legends, Bandoleros, High School Racing Association, Bandits and Upper Midwest Vintage Series.

The ever-popular Street Drags which boasted 297 bracket entries last fall will fill six dates on the 2025 calendar. The Super Sunday Spring Street Drags will start the season on Sunday afternoon April 27 before moving to the second Thursday of each month beginning on Thursday May 8 and running through September 11.
