The annual Madison International Clean-Up day scheduled for Saturday April 27 has been postponed due to unseasonably cool temperatures, predicted to be joined by a mix of precipitation. “These are great days to get a variety of projects done around the track. Everyone has been a huge help, hopefully the weather will cooperate a bit better in the future.” Commented Speedway owner Gregg McKarns. The clean-up day has been tentatively rescheduled for Saturday May 11 from 8am-2pm, coinciding with the first Madison Speedway Marketplace of the season. The Open Practice scheduled for Saturday April 27 is still on as scheduled, McKarns noted that he would continue to watch the forecast and provide an update by Friday afternoon.
