Madison International Speedway is excited to welcome Jerry Priesgen as the new technical and race director for the Legends division.
“We are very excited about the potential for growth in the Legends division at MIS,” said General Manager Dave Grueneberg. “Jerry brings a no non-sense approach to the teching and race directing side of the Legends program which will be a major asset to our weekly racing program.”
Priesgen recently spoke to a group of Legends drivers at the pre-season meeting in Stoughton. He addressed concerns shared by drivers and assured all of those in attendance that rules will be followed and consistent race procedures will be in place.
Legends drivers can expect double-file restarts in 2012 plus an exciting new racing format.
The first Legends event at MIS will be on Sunday, May 27th on the “Ring of Fire.”
