Kids Drive NASCAR During Championship Friday Night at MIS

Oregon, WI- NASCAR’s Acceleration Nation is coming to Madison International Speedway this Friday Night August 30 as area kids get ready to head back to school next Tuesday. Kids ages 11 and under attending Friday’s NASCAR Whelen Engineering Championship night at ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’ will receive the all-new NASCAR Home Track Activity Book, the first 200 kids will receive a NASCAR Back to School Pouch which includes a pencil, pencil sharpener, eraser, NASCAR ruler and Home Track Stickers while one lucky student will win the Grand Prize Pack. The Grand Prize Pack includes a NASCAR Backpack, NASCAR Heat 3 for Xbox featuring recent MIS Lettow Classic winner Ty Majeski, Aluminum Sports Bottle, New Era Baseball Hat, Lionel 1:64 Diecast including Chase Elliott plus more.

Whelen Championship Night will play host to double features in all four divisions for the final Friday night program of 2019, with Champions being crowned in the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits. Also in action for two features will be the Roto Rooter 6shooters. Adult general admission tickets are $14, Whelen Heroes and Seniors are $12, students ages 12-17 are $8, kids 6-11 $5 with children ages 5 and under admitted free. Take advantage of the MIS Family Pricing and get up to two adult admissions and up to four youth (ages 17 and under) admissions for just $30. Spectator gates open at 6, qualifying gets underway at 6:15 with the first big race at 7:30pm.
