Oregon, WI- This past winter, Madison International Speedway track owners Gregg and Angie McKarns posted a $5,000 bonus to the driver that could win May’s Joe Shear Classic 200 and this Friday Night’s (August 26) Howie Lettow Classic 100 presented by First Business Bank. Johnson pocketed the $15,000 win in May and now looks to win his second consecutive Howie and third straight ARCA Midwest Tour event at ‘Wisconsin’s Fastest Half Mile’, a race that pays $5,000 to win. It could very well be a banner night for Johnson, the two-time ARCA Midwest Tour Champion and current point leader as he fends off his fellow ‘Stars and Cars’ in the 100 lap contest.
The ARCA Midwest Tour Super Late Models will be joined by the Midwest Truck Series and 602 Outlaw Late Model Tour. Spectator gates open at 4pm with racing set to begin at 7:30pm. Advance discount tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for Whelen Heroes and Seniors, $15 for students ages 12-17, kids ages 6-11 are admitted for $5 with children ages 5 and under admitted free. Infield Busch Light Tailgate Zone parking passes are $50, with occupants of the vehicle needing to purchase a race ticket as well.
