Joe Shear Classic Today at MIS

The weather looks perfect for today’s 5th annual Joe Shear Classic featuring the ARCA Midwest Tour at Madison International Speedway. An outstanding field of drivers will be at MIS to take on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile. Practice is set for 11:30 AM with qualifying at 1:15 PM and pre-race ceremonies and racing to follow. The grandstands will open at 11:30 AM.

Last year’s winner Andrew Morrissey will be here along with previous winners Nathan Haseleu and Ross Kenseth and a field approaching 40 cars.

The SCAG Power Equipment Midwest Trucks and INEX Legends will also be competing today. Both divisions will be running for points towards an MIS track championship today as well.

It’s going to be a great day to come out to MIS and enjoy the Joe Shear Classic.
