Just a few tips and reminders heading into this weekend’s event, we look forward to seeing everyone for the Joe Shear Classic.
Road Destruction Update:
As a reminder to all of you attending this Sunday’s Joe Shear Classic, the interstate exit at Stoughton is closed to North/West bound traffic, so if coming from the south please utilize Hwy 14 out of Janesville, it adds about 5-10 minutes to your travel time. You will come through Evansville, we are 15 minutes north of Evansville, you will pass the Hwy 92 intersection to Brookly, then pass Dave’s White Rock (on right), then cross Hwy A, just north of that intersection you will see the GREEN directional sign for Madison International Speedway, turn right on Oak Hill Road, this will lead you to the southwest corner of the track, turn left on Sunrise Road to the main entrance. If you have a big trailer or you miss the turn, simply continue two miles north to Hwy 138, then head east (right) to Sunrise Road, turn right on Sunrise Rd.
Race Team Race Fuel:
We WILL NOT have fuel for sale at the track this weekend, please plan accordingly, thank you.
Camping:
Camping is allowed this weekend at Madison International Speedway, please park your units perpendicular to the north tree line, thank you. We will leave the bathrooms open for your convenience all weekend. All fires must be kept in a fire ring.
