
Veteran racer Jacob Goede is entered for the Joe Shear Classic presented by Toyota on Sunday May 4th. Goede will be back behind the wheel of the Chase Motorsports 47 car. Goede made his debut with the team just a few weeks back at Dells Raceway Park where they finished 11th in the Icebreaker 100.
Goede is no stranger to running up front. He’s a 10 time Elko Speedway Late Model Track Champion and was the 2019 NASCAR Whelen All American Series National Champion. He has two wins in ASA Midwest Tour competition, winning at Illiana Motor Speedway in 2009 and Elko Speedway in 2007. In Big 8 Series competition he has 5 wins in 13 starts. 4 of those wins were at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway during Oktoberfest Race Weekend. He won the event in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. His other win with the Big 8 Series was in 2019 at Elko Speedway.
The Joe Shear Classic presented by Toyota is set for Sunday May 4th. Spectator gates open at 10:30am while practice for the Midwest Tour and Midwest Trucks gets underway at 11:30am with qualifying at 12:45pm and the first race at 2pm.
