It’s the Fall Classic at MIS Today

The Fall Classic comes to Madison International Speedway today with Super Late Models, Legends, International Four Cylinders, Central States Super Cups, and One on One Street Drags all taking center stage for the final racing event at MIS in 2012.

Highlighting today’s racing schedule will be Twin 50’s for the Super Late Models with the overall winner based on combined finishes taking home $3000.  A total of twenty-four drivers have already earned automatic starting positions.  However, a total of up to thirty cars could start the feature so drivers racing for the first time in a Triple Crown Challenge event in 2012 have a shot at the big prize.

The International Four Cylinders will be taking on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile today with Short Trackers and Bandits also able to compete with some restrictions applying.

The largest field ever of Legends cars is expected at MIS today to fight it out on the newly re-configured “Ring of Fire” in a 30 lap feature.  Drivers from four states are expected to be on track today.

Drivers of all ages will be competing in the Central States Super Cup event to be run on the “Ring of Fire” and the popular One on One Street Drags will close out the racing action.

Grandstand admission is just $15.00 for adults and Mother Nature has promised us a great first full day of Fall.

The stands will open at 11:30 AM with qualifying set for 1:15 PM followed by pre-race ceremonies and racing.
