Here’s the latest from your NASCAR Home Track…

It’s Round Two of the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge presented by Bobcat of Janesville this Friday night at Madison International Speedway. The Dave’s White Rock Sportsman, Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits, and Roto Rooter 6Shooters will also be in action.

Twenty-five cars came to Madison in June for Round One with Ty Majeski picking up the win followed by Paul Shafer Jr. and Jeff Storm. Majeski passed Jeremy Miller on lap 21 to pick up his first-ever win at Madison.

Majeski leads the overall points race with 116 points followed by Shafer Jr. (103), Storm (92), Miller (89), and Dave Feiler (89).

With a stellar field expected this Friday night plus the return of a multi-time track champion Rich Bickle, the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge is guaranteed to be a must see race. The top six qualifiers will also compete in the B and B Lawncare Dash.

The final round of the Triple Crown Challenge will take place on August 21st.

It’s back to point racing for the Dave’s White Rock Sportsman where Ryan Goldade and Robert Hansberry are in a tight battle for the top spot with only ten points (530-520) separating the two. Mike Taylor is in third place with 416 points. Goldade has four feature wins and a new track record so far this season, but Hansberry has been right there to challenge him for the checkered flag.

Defending champion Dan Snyder continues to lead the chase in the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits. Snyder has 471 points followed by Nick Schmidt with 410 and Brandon DeLacy with 403.

The 6Shooters are back for their second race of the season after Lucas Stevenson picked up the checkered flag back in June.

Complete point standings for all divisions are available on our website at misracing.com.
