It’s an exciting program of racing tonight at Madison with the return of the Super Late Models plus the Midwest Trucks, Legends, and 6Shooters. That’s right…high speed racing action that you’ll not only see and hear but also feel because it’s all just fifty feet in front of you. It’s an experience second to none, and you’ll certainly want to be part of the action by seeing it all live and in person.

The Howie Lettow Classic presented by Klement’s will determine the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge champion after 50 laps of exciting action on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile. The race for the championship is tight with Casey Johnson the current leader with 213 points followed closely by Jeremy Miller (204), Austin Nason (202) Paul Shafer Jr. (185), and Jeff Storm (169). Miller is the defending champion while Johnson is also a past overall winner. Ty Majeski and Miller were event winners earlier this season. The best in the Midwest will be here including NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter fresh off a fifth place finish at Bristol.

The always competitive Midwest Trucks are back in action where it all began at Madison in 1997 with an outstanding field coming to town for 35 laps of trucking action. Chester Ace, Dave Edwards, and Dan Jung won the earlier races at Madison that all featured exciting finishes. The points race in the series is very tight with Edwards leading the way followed by Ace, Kevin Knuese, Jerry Wood, and Danielle Behn.

Aaron Moyer will attempt to become the all-time feature win leader in the Legends division at Madison tonight when he goes for checkered flag number twenty-two plus the Roto Rooter 6Shooters will be out in force on the “Ring of Fire.”

But one more racing division will be in action tonight. Making their first-ever Madison appearance will be the World Famous Klement’s Racing Sausages battling it out on foot on the track. See a Bratwurst, Polish Sausage, Italian Sausage, Hot Dog, and Chorizo race for the checkered flag.

Delicious food specials from Angie’s Cookbook will be featured along with Budweiser and Pepsi products plus there’s fun activities at the Quest Industrial Kids’ Club and the Capital Speedway Slot Car Track.
