About Friday Night
Our 2024 Track Champions will be crowned this Friday night. Here’s a look at how the points race is shaping up going into the final night of weekly racing.

Late Models: Zack Riddle (1011) leads the way in the points chase followed by Shaun Scheel (850), Will Rece (832), Jesse Bernhagen (826), and Bobby Wilberg (738). A season championship for Riddle would be his sixth (2015, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023) and his fourth in a row which would tie him with Nick Schmidt (Bandits). Top Rookie of the Year candidates include Mathew Fairburn Jr., Carter Nilson, and Josh McGrath who are competing on the half-mile for the first time in their careers. Setting fast time and winning both features can earn a driver 215 points.

Dave’s White Rock MISfitz: Dan Snyder (961), Dave Edwards (917), Kenny Storkson (889), Brian Ulrich (796) and Mason Hellenbrand (682) are the top five in the standings. Snyder is going for his first MISfitz championship but not his first at Madison as he captured back to back titles in the Bandits (2014, 2015). Edwards is looking for his third track championship to go with his wins in 2019 and 2023. Storkson leads the way for Rookie of the Year. A clean sweep can earn a driver 215 points.

Roto Rooter 6Shooters: For the first time ever a track champion will be crowned in the 6Shooters. Current top five includes Dylan Klinger (831), Trevor Chilson (751), Randy Grancorvitz (658), Kenny Morris (613), and Gene Robbins (586). Nolan McNallie is the top rookie as this season is his first-ever 6Shooter experience. The maximum number of points a driver can earn is 200 for winning both features.

Finishline Towing High School Racing Association: The HSRA at Madison will also have a track champion for the first time. Gracie Flanagan (395), Kennedy Krueger (386), Charlie Thompson (353), Peyton Payne (251), and Kayden Ellis (169) comprise the top five in the standings. The maximum number of points a driver can earn is 200 for winning both features.

Did You Know?
A track championship in the HSRA by Gracie Flanagan would be the first for a female driver at Madison history in any division. Caylie Duncanson (3), Flanagan (2), and Becca Kasten, Natalie Decker, and Laney Osborne appear to be the only drivers to win feature races to the best of our knowledge.

Last Week at Madison
Six drivers captured the “cheese” in our fourth annual Cheese Curd Cup with Davey Pennel (Midwest Dash) Waylon Robinson (Hobby Stocks) Kyle Riedner (Bandits) Josh Morris (Roto Rooter 6Shooters) Lincoln Cain (Legends) and Axel Oldenhoff (Bandoleros) the winners. Thanks to Tim’s Detailing and Culvers of Oregon for their support in this annual event as well as the nearly 90 drivers who were part of the racing program.
