The NASCAR Late Models have been one of the most competitive divisions in the region this year with seven different winners in eight races. Only current point leader Bobby Wilberg has found victory lane more than once this season. Brian Beale, Rusty Hansen, Zack Riddle, Shaun Scheel, Nick Panitzke, and John Baumeister Jr. all have feature wins this season. Riddle, Dale Nottestad, Baumeister Jr. and Scheel round out the top five in the point standings. Wilberg also leads the Dash Series.
The first-ever MISfitz champion will be crowned this season. Dave Edwards is the current point leader and he’s followed by Ray Hellenbrand, Gary Hellenbrand, Bryan Hellenbrand, and Mike Taylor. Edwards, Rick Coppernoll, and Bobby Frisch each have two wins this season while Tyler Hansen and Gary Hellenbrand each have a victory. Edwards is also leading the Dash Series.
The tightest points race is in the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits where defending champion Nick Schmidt leads Jeremy Bredeson by 12 points and Brandon Junget by 25 points. Ronnie Osborne and Dave Schmidt round out the top five in the points chase. Bredeson has three feature wins this year with Steve Dickson winning a pair. Josh Rusch, Nick Schmidt, and Ronnie Osborne each have one victory. Bredeson is the leader in the Dash Series.
The Central States Region Super Cups will be making their second appearance of the season with Connor Kosowski picking up the win back in June.
