It Keeps Getting Better and Better at Madison

The 2019 schedule at Madison gets into full swing with exciting racing events and family fun on tap starting this Friday when the Bandit Big Rigs come to town. But that’s just the start of things to come. Here’s a quick look at what’s going to be on track at Madison…

Big Rigs this Friday at Madison

The Bandit Big Rig Series returns to Madison International Speedway for their second ever visit this Friday night. See “The Iron Giants of the Asphalt” racing at high speeds around Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile. That’s right you’ll see Volvos, Peterbilts, Macks, Western Stars, and Freightliners racing side by side.

Race gates on Friday open at 3:00 PM with a Bandit Meet and Greet from 5:00 – 6:15 PM with racing slated to begin at 7:00 PM.

If you were here in 2017 you’ll want to be here on Friday night. If you missed it two seasons ago, it’s your time to redeem yourself. Save $5.00 with an advanced ticket by going to the series website at banditseries.com.

Super Late Models Back on May 31st

It’s Round Two of the Alive for Five Series at Madison on Friday, May 31st. See the high flying Super Late Models battle it out in the $3500 to win Capital Classic Twin 50’s. Add in the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits and you’ve got one, big exciting night of racing.

Casey Johnson picked up the win in Round One of the Alive for Five Series at Dells Raceway Park in April. Skylar Holzhausen, Rich Bickle Jr., Andrew Morrissey, and Austin Nason rounded out the top five. The best in the region will be here on the 31st so make your plans to be here too.

All three weekly NASCAR divisions will also be in action. John Baumeister Jr. won the season opener this past Friday while Gary Hellenbrand won the first-ever MISfitz feature. Since the Bandit feature was rained out on Friday, they will racing double features on the 31st.

Kids’ Night is June 7th

All children 11 and under will be admitted free on Friday, June 7th when the first of three Kids’ Nights at MIS takes place. The kids will have an opportunity to participate in a $1000 coin scramble on the track.

Racing action features the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits, Roto Rooter 6Shooters and the Bandoleros.

One on One Street Drags Back in June

Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 13th when the June edition of the One on One Street Drags takes on Madison’s 300 foot strip of speed. Over fifteen divisions mean there is something for every type of vehicle. Add in the Shine n Show Contest and it’s full speed ahead for our monthly street drags. Pit passes are just $10.00 plus it’s only a $10.00 entry fee per division. Grandstand tickets are $10.00.

ARCA Menards Racing Series Here on June 14th

The ARCA Menards Racing Series returns to Madison on Friday, June 14th for the Shore Lunch 200 featuring live pit stops and all of the side by side racing action ARCA is known for at Madison. Practice begins on Friday afternoon running from 1:15 – 3:00 PM with qualifying at 5:00 PM and racing at 8:00 PM. Chandler Smith won last year’s race in his first-ever trip to Madison.
