Friday Night Rewind
Congratulations to feature winners Steve Anderson and Jacob Nottestad who both picked up their first-ever feature wins at Madison in the Sportsman and Legends respectively.
Anderson took the lead on the final lap enroute to his checkered flag while Nottestad held off Aaron Moyer for the win on the “Ring of Fire.”
A major accident involving several cars in the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Models brought out the red flag in their feature. After a lengthy clean up the skies opened up over MIS and the heavy rain put an end to the night of racing.
As a result of the rain the Bandits feature was also washed out along with the School Bus Jump. The Late Model and Bandit features plus the School Bus Jump will be made up on August 28th.

Hall of Fame Class of 2015
It’s time now to nominate individuals for our next class of the MIS Hall of Fame. The nominations will remain open until August 21st with winners announced on September 4th.
Here is the link to make your nomination: misracing.com/mis-hall-of-fame-nomination-form/
There are so many worthy individuals for the Hall of Fame we are really looking for your suggestions. Remember it can be drivers, owners / promoters, track officials, car owners, etc. Our website does have listing of past track champions and all-time feature winners. However, the information is far from complete as we have very little from support divisions in the seventies and eighties and not many records prior to 1969. This is where we need your help.
