Green Means Go…Double Header Week at Madison

Two exciting nights of racing action are on tap this week at Madison with the July edition of the Morrison’s Auto Parts Thursday Night Street Drags and on Friday Bobcat of Janesville presents double feature night in four exciting racing divisions.

When: Thursday, July 11th

What: July edition of the Morrison’s Auto Parts Street Drags

Racing Divisions: For more information regarding the different brackets go to Street Drags

Times: Pits open at 6:00 with practice and grudge matches at 6:30 followed by One on One bracket racing at 7:30.

Prices: Entry fee is $10 per bracket. Pit passes / grandstand admission is $10.


When: Friday, July 12th

What: Bobcat of Janesville presents Double Features and High School Night

Racing Divisions: Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Roto Rooter 6Shooters, Finish Line Towing High School Racing Association

Times: Practice 4:45 / Grandstands 6:00 / Qualifying 6:15 / Opening Ceremonies 7:25 / Racing 7:30

Prices: Adults $18 / Seniors and Heroes $15 / Students 12-17 Free / Kids 6-11 Free / 5 and under Free / Family pass good for up to two adults and four students / kids is just $40.

Promotions: $5 off an adult ticket when you present your Kwik Trip Card plus Free admission for all high school students with valid id

Upcoming Events in July

Friday, July 19th Racers’ Reunion Night with double features for the Late Models, MISfitz, 6Shooters, and Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series. Fans 62 and over receive a free gift at the gate.

Friday, July 26th ISS Enduro four cylinder racing returns to Madison after one of the closest finishes ever at the speedway last year. 300 laps on the Ring of Fire is not only exciting but also a little unpredictable.

Late Models
Top 5 in points are Zack Riddle, Shaun Scheel, Jesse Bernhagen, Will Rece, and Bobby Wilberg. Feature winners include Riddle (4), Scheel (1), and Ryan Goldade (1). Four drivers (Riddle, Rece, Scheel, and Jeremy Miller) have set fast times in qualifying this year.

MISfitz
Top 5 in points are Dan Snyder, Kenny Storkson, Mason Hellenbrand, Dave Edwards and Brian Ulrich. Feature winners include Dan Snyder (3), Mason Hellenbrand (2), and Nick Schneider (1). Fast times this year have been earned by Storkson (2), Snyder, and Edwards. Storkson set a track record for being closest to 20.000 with a lap of 20.001.

6Shooters
Top five in points are Dylan Klinger, Trevor Chilson, Kenny Morris, Gene Robbins, and Randy Grancorvitz. Feature winners are Josh Morris (1), Robbins (1), Chilson (1), and Klinger (1).

HSRA
Top five in points are Charlie Thompson, Gracie Flanagan, Kennedy Krueger, Xander Weeks, and Jackson Martindale. Flanagan won the division’s only race so far in 2024.
