It’s Friday Night Under the Lights at Madison International Speedway and our fans will be the big winners as Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Buck Night is back. All concessions are just $1.00 this week with beer only $2.00. That’s right fans…brats, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, and more are just $1.00 each! Bring your appetite and your thirst on Friday night!

Not only is it a great night for food and drink, but the racing action is really heating up. Last week fan’s witnessed some of the most exciting racing of the season and the best is still to come.

Four divisions will be on-track this week with the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock Sportsman, Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits, and Northern Outlaw Vintage Series in action. All four divisions will be running double features this week as they will on August 31st and September 7th.

When Bobby Wilberg picked up the win in one of the two features last week, he became only the first driver in the NASCAR Late Models to be a repeat winner this year. Jeremy Miller, John Baumeister Jr., Shaun Scheel, Brian Beale, and Zack Riddle each have taken home a checkered flag this season. Drivers such as Will Rece, Brent Edmunds, and Jon Reynolds Jr. have been knocking on the door in their hunt for the checkered flag. Riddle is the current points leader in the division but anything can happen from here on out.

Robert Hansberry Jr. and Ray Hellenbrand are currently one-two in the Dave’s White Rock Sportsman while Nick Schmidt shows the way in the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits. Six feature races remain on the 2018 schedule so the points race has a long ways to go.

Riddle, Hansberry Jr., and Schmidt also lead the DASH Series in their respective divisions. The top six qualifiers in each division will run DASH races tomorrow night in addition to the double features.
