Fun Filled Friday at Madison International Speedway

Mini of Madison presents Salute to the Working Man this Friday night with four divisions coming to town to compete on the half-mile. The Midwest Trucks, Mid American Stock Cars, Great Northern Sportsman, and Midwest Dash Series will all be in action for what is certain to be an all out battle of non-stop action.

But there’s much more excitement on tap: You work hard for your money so with proof of employment you’ll pay just $6.00 for grandstand admission

How about this first time ever event at Madison! It’s the first annual “Beer Mile” this Friday where one lucky runner will win beer for a year. Competitors must be at least 21. It’s four laps around the “Ring of Fire” with beverages along the way…definitely fun for both competitors and fans. There will also be special awards for those on the larger side (250 pounds or more).

This will be the second of two visits in 2016 for three of the series competing on Friday night. Dave Trute (Great Northern Sportsman), Kyle Stark (Midwest Dash), and Kenny Joosten (MASCS) picked up wins earlier this season. Chester Ace and Dave Edwards won the first two races for the Midwest Trucks, a division that got its start at Madison in 1997.

Looking Back at Friday
