This Friday night at Madison International Speedway will be highlighted by double features for four racing divisions as part of Bring Dad to the Races Night.. The NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits all compete under the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series and will be joined by the High School Racing Association (HSRA) who will be making their second appearance at Madison in 2022.
Friday night is a great way to start off Fathers’ Day Weekend with all dads eligible for a choice of a free MIS gift.
The NASCAR Late Models will once again be competing for $1000 to win in each of their main events. In four races so far this season, three different drivers have taken home checkered flags with Zack Riddle capturing two while Jacob Goede and Michael Bilderback each have one. Rusty Hansen has swept both Dash Series events.
The Dave’s White Rock MISfitz have seen four different drivers pick up feature wins this season with Rick Coppernoll, Bobby Frisch, Ray Hellenbrand, and Tyler Hansen all winners. Ray Hellenbrand and Coppernoll have each won a Dash race. Big Rig Repair and Dave’s White Rock have stepped up to provide additional incentives for new competitors.
In the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits, Nick Schmidt has taken home three wins while Bart Brockmann picked up his first win at Madison back in May. Schmidt has also won the two Dash Series events for the Bandits.
The three weekly NASCAR divisions are also competing for season point funds that total $8500 for the Late Models, $3000 for the MISfitz, and $2000 for the Bandits. Additionally, the RA Heating and Air Conditioning Dash Series has a point fund of $4000 this year.
The HSRA (High School Racing Association) featuring high school racers from three states will be on the Ring of Fire.
Pit gates on Friday open at 3:30 with practice at 5:00, qualifying at 6:15 and racing at 7:30. Adult admission is $15.00 with Seniors / Whelen Heroes $12.00, Students 12-17 $8.00, Kids 6-11 $5.00 and 5 and under free. A Family Ticket good for up to two adult admissions and four children or student tickets is just $30.00.
