Congratulations to our four track champions at Madison for the 2025 season. Shaun Scheel (Late Models), Dan Snyder (Dave’s White Rock MISfitz), Dylan Klinger (Roto Rooter 6Shooters), and Kennedy Krueger (Finishline Towing High School Racing Association).
Shaun Scheel Wins Late Model Championship
Shaun Scheel is the 2025 Late Model track champion at Madison. Scheel becomes only the fifth different driver to win a Late Model title here since 2006. This year’s crown is the first in his Madison career that began back in 2006 in a Bandit race before joining the Sportsman ranks and eventually moving up to the Late Model division.
In 2025 he won two features (May 16th and July 18th) and set fast time on May 30th and June 13th. He had podium finishes in seven races and was in the top five nine of eleven times and only finished out of the top ten on one occasion. He finished the season with 993 points just twenty-two ahead of runner up Brent Edmunds.
In his Madison career he now has seven Late Model wins to go along with a win in the Sportsman division.
Dan Snyder Best of the MISfitz
Dan Snyder made it two in a row by winning the 2025 track championship for the Dave’s White Rock MISfitz. In addition to his two crowns in this division, he also won a pair of titles in the Bandits division in 2014-2015.
Powered by feature wins on May 16th (two wins), May 30th and June 6th and fast times on May 16th and July 18th he totaled 1052 points which was seventy ahead of runner-up Rick Coppernoll. He had a division high nine podium finishes and finished in the top five in nine of eleven races.
He now has eight career wins in the division to go along with his eleven wins in the Bandit division.
Dylan Klinger King of the 6Shooters
Dylan Klinger won the Roto Rooter 6Shooters championship for the second year in a row and is the only track champion in the division which began maintaining points last year.
In a championship race that went down to the end of the season, he edged Jason Van Hise in the chase for the title (800-774). He picked up features wins on the first two nights of the season (May 16th and May 30th) which give him ten for his career on the “Ring of Fire” placing his second on the all-time list.
But it was consistency that took him to the top of charts when he finished in the top three in six out of the nine races and finished in the top ten in every event.
Kennedy Krueger Does it Again
Kennedy Krueger made the long trip from the Sparta area and wound up being a repeat track champion in the Finishline Towing High School Racing Association.
In six races this season, Krueger took home wins on June 3rd and two each on July 18th and August 15th.
His five victories this season give him eight for his career which is the highest in the division that has raced at Madison since 2021.
