It’s double features for the Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, Roto Rooter 6Shooters, and the HSRA this Friday night at Madison as the race for track championships is very competitive and with the season coming down to just two points nights (including Friday).
Double features means there are 215 possible points for a driver earning a clean sweep so there’s still time for some major point swings in the chase for a Madison championship. Current leaders are Brent Edmunds (Late Models), Nick Schneider (MISfitz), Dylan Klinger (6Shooters), and Gracie Flanagan (HSRA).
It’s also the first ever Wisconsin’s Fastest Meat Raffle where the Oregon Optimist Club will be selling raffle tickets on the concourse for $5 each. There will be 100 winners provided 1000 tickets are sold. Please support the local Optimist Club while you’re enjoying the races on Friday.

Last Week at Madison: Congratulations to Ty Fredrickson who picked up his first-ever win at Madison in the 12th running of the Howie Lettow 100 for the ASA Midwest Tour. He becomes the ninth different winner of the “Classic” and joins an elite class of former winners led by Casey Johnson and Ty Majeski with three and two wins respectively. Local favorite Chester Ace won the 30 lap main event for the Midwest Truck Series. It was his 35th career win at Madison with eleven of those coming in a truck and twenty-four in his four cylinder Bandit.
