Everything is in place for a great night of fun under the lights at Madison International Speedway tonight so bring out your family, your friends, and co-workers for a night of live racing action, specials on food and drink as part of Buck Night, and a post race party that’s all part of Fan / Driver Appreciation Night.
Bring your thirst and appetite because tonight is Buck Night at Madison with concessions for just $1.00 and beer for only $2.00. Eat, drink, and enjoy the races because we have an awesome racing program lined up for you.
Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile and the Ring of Fire will come alive with five racing divisions in action highlighted by the $1000 to win event for the Club LaMark NASCAR Late Models that features a talented group of weekly racers and some speedy visitors from throughout the region. Drivers like Casey Johnson, Jeremy Miller, and Ty Majeski have plans to come to Madison and leave with the big prize for winning tonight’s 30 lap feature.
But the visitors will have to get past a great field of weekly stars led by Bobby Wilberg, and the current point leader in the Late Models with three feature races remaining on the schedule for 2016. He leads the standings with 942 points followed by Zack Riddle, John Beale, Jon Reynolds Jr., and John Baumeister Jr. Wilberg is going for his twelfth track championship at Madison.
Also in action will be the American Ethanol Super Trucks where one driver can take home $1000 for winning both features. Truck racing at Madison is always competitive and exciting and tonight will be no exception. The Dave’s White Rock Sportsman, Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits, and Bandoleros will also be racing.
When the racing program is completed fans are invited to the pits to meet the drivers and enjoy a post-race party.
Pit gates open at 3:30pm, practice begins at 5, spectator gates open at 6 with qualifying beginning at 6:15. The RA Heating and Air Conditioning Dashes start the racing program at 7:30pm. Adult general admission tickets remain $12, Whelen Heroes and Seniors are $10, Students (12-17) $8, Kids (6-11) $5 with children under 5 admitted free.
