Eight Feature Races Plus 2 for 1 Admission this Friday Night

Double features in four divisions plus 2 for 1 Admission coupons available at area businesses equals a winning combination this Friday night at Madison. Not only will you see double features (Late Models, MISfitz, 6Shooters, Bandits), but you’ll also have an opportunity to take advantage of 2 for 1 coupons by visiting one of a dozen area businesses.

It’s the second “weekly” racing event of the season and features #3 and #4 for the Late Models, MISfitz, and 6Shooters. Back on May 15th Bobby Wilberg and Michael Bilderback picked up Late Model wins, MISfitz wins went to Kenny Storkson and Nick Schneider while Joshua Zacharias and Dan Bishop were winners in the 6Shooters.

Last Week at Madison

Bilderback won the 48 lap main event for the Big 8 Late Models while Lincoln Cain (Legends), Oliver Weinkauf (Bandoleros “A” Feature), Jack Maurer (Bandoleros “B” Feature), and Bobby Wilberg (602 Outlaw Late Models) also took home wins.

Bilderback now has seven Late Model wins at Madison including four Big 8 wins (2026, 2025, 2024, 2018). This was the 28th Big 8 event at Madison. The 602 Outlaw Late Model win for Wilberg was his fourth at Madison in the division’s nine events. Cain now has four Legends wins in a row at Madison after winning twice last year and once in 2024 tying him fifth in the all-time standings. Weinkauf was a first time winner at Madison in the Bandoleros.

The Bandits are Back

Four cylinder Bandit racing at Madison dates back to May 7th of 2006 when the “Ring of Fire” held its’ first race with Tyler Kelley picking up the win. Friday night’s races will be #174 and #175 in track history with Nick Schmidt (27) the winningest driver. Kyle Riedner, who was in the first race back in 2006, won two of the three races last year with Schmidt also getting a win.
