Double Features / Kids’ Night at Madison this Friday

Story Image

It’s a huge night at Madison International Speedway this Friday with double features in all four divisions (that’s right…8 features) and it’s Kids’ Night where all children 11 and under will be admitted free. Plus, One Community Bank will be sponsoring a $1000 Coin Scramble for the kids during intermission. It’s a night you don’t want to miss!

Double features are on tap in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series for the NASCAR Late Models, Dave’s White Rock MISfitz, and Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits plus the Roto Rooter 6Shooters with RA Heating and Air Conditioning Dash events for the Late Models, MISfitz, and Bandits.

The Late Models will be battling it out for $1000 to win in each of their features with drivers from at least three states expected to make the trip to Madison. Thanks to our race sponsors Scorezit “The Ultimate Scorekeeper” and Powersource Racing Engines. On May 27th Michael Bilderback and Zack Riddle each took home a checkered flag topping a stellar field of 23 of the best drivers in the Midwest.

Tyler Hansen and Rick Coppernoll picked up wins in the MISfitz with Bart Brockmann and Nick Schmidt (Bandits) and Eric Niemi and Josh Morris (6Shooters) also picking up wins as eight different drivers won the eight feature races on May 27th.

Is there a better way of celebrating the end of the school year than seeing all of the kids 11 and under venturing down to the track during intermission where $1000 worth of coins will be waiting for them in an annual event that goes back decades at the speedway.

Pit gates open at 3:30, Chapel starts at 4:15, Practice at 5:00, Qualifying at 6:15, with Racing at 7:30. Grandstands open at 6:00.

Adult admission is just $15.00 with Whelen Heroes / Seniors at $12.00, Students 12-17 at $8.00 with kids 11 and under free. A Family Pass is just $30.00 and includes two adult admissions and up to four students.
