Oregon, WI- In what has become the most popular bracket among Street Drag competitors and fans at Madison International Speedway, the Winners Bracket will now be held at each and every Street Drag event in 2018. With the support of Bumper to Bumper of Stoughton, the winning machines from each bracket will be able to participate in the Bumper to Bumper Winners Bracket at the conclusion of each Street Drag event.
A $50 Bumper to Bumper gift card as well as a newly designed, larger trophy will await the Bumper to Bumper Winners Bracket victor. Each month’s finale winner will be automatically entered into the Grand Finale Bumper to Bumper Bracket on Thursday September 13th for the 2018 Crown.
Now entering their third year, the Madison International Speedway Street Drags feature 20 brackets of drag and street machines, everything from motorcycles, imports and nostalgia to custom rides and diesel trucks. Competing on the 300’ asphalt drag strip, these fun events have become ‘Can’t Miss’ gatherings of enthusiasts from multiple disciplines. Last Septembers Street Drag event had over 2,000 spectators witness 288 bracket racers and nearly 40 Shine ‘N Show car show entrants.
The first Bumper to Bumper Winners Bracket will take place on Sunday afternoon April 29 during the Super Sunday Spring Street Drags. The second Thursday of the month completes the Thursday Night Street Drag calendar, May 10, June 14, July 12, August 9 and September 13.
