Oregon, WI- Madison International Speedway announced today that it will host the ‘Biggest and Best Fireworks Display’ in the 51-year history of the family owned and operated facility. The Drive-In event will feature a gigantic display by Spielbauer Fireworks during MIS’ annual Salute to America Night.
“Our family felt it was important to continue this tradition and we invite everyone to experience this awesome Fireworks display. We have doubled our budget, if you have ever seen our display at MIS, you know that we aren’t kidding when we say this one will be our Biggest and Best.” Stated Speedway co-owner Gregg McKarns. For just $20 per vehicle on event day, the Speedway will utilize four entrances and all parking areas including overflow parking and the pit area to provide fun seekers a clear view of what is likely a once in a lifetime event.
While adhering to the Public Health Madison & Dane County orders which will not allow for racing to take place at MIS on June 26, the guidelines allow for drive-in activities such as the Salute to America Fireworks Display. “This is going to be great, it will be fun to do something fun again.” Added McKarns. Individuals are to stay with their vehicles when not at the concession stands or using the restroom facilities. MIS has indicated their intention to have multiple concession stands and beer stands available throughout the expansive 50-acre outdoor facility.
