The checkered flags for the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits went to Bart Brockmann and Nick Schmidt.
Brandon Riedner and Trent Rueth showed the way to the green flag in the first Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits feature. Riedner grabbed a slight advantage out front with Rueth taking the lead on lap 2. On lap 8 Rueth increased his lead while Bart Brockmann took the second spot from Riedner with Nick Schmidt up to third. Brockmann wanted the lead on lap 12 and pushed Rueth to the side with Schmidt trying to move up to second before getting high up the track and into the grass outside of turn three. Meanwhile, the car of Dave Schmidt had slowed bringing out the caution.
Brockmann continued to lead following the restart putting it on cruise control and leading the rest of the way to pick up his first ever checkered flag at Madison. “We haven’t had a lot of luck here. I’m thrilled,” said Brockmann.
Nick Schmidt cruised to victory in the second 25 lap feature for the Pellitteri Waste Systems Bandits. It was his seventeenth career feature win at Madison tying him for second on the all-time list.
Brandon Riedner and Ethan Degner paced the field to the green flag. Riedner took the early lead with Nick Newton and Nick Schmidt up to challenge on lap 5. From the outside, Schmidt took the top spot on lap 6 while Newton and Riedner ran side by side. On lap 8 Newton claimed second place with Dave Schmidt charging up to third. Dave Schmidt would eventually take second, but nobody on the Ring of Fire could catch his brother Nick.
Nick Schmidt picked up the checkered flag in the RA Heating and Air Conditioning Dash. Fast time was set by Schmidt with a mark of 15.216 (59.148 mph).
