Matt Kenseth Returns to MIS on June 17th

Looks like the weather is starting to heat up in south central Wisconsin, and so is the racing action on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile as the much anticipated Colony Brands 100 takes the green flag on Tuesday night, and someone is going to take home $5000 for the win
Matt Kenseth will be competing in the Colony Brands 100 against some of the top super late model drivers in the Midwest including his son Ross. Many of our weekly super late model teams will be here along with some very talented drivers coming to chase down the big prize. In addition to the super late models, the very competitive American Ethanol Super Trucks will also be part of the racing program.
The Colony Brands 100 will pay $5000 to win / $475 to start. The Super Truck event will pay $500 to win / $200 to start. Both of these races will count in the weekly point standings at MIS.
The pit gates open at 10:00 AM on Tuesday with beginning at Noon and continuing until 3:30 PM. Qualifying is slated to begin at 4:00 PM with an on-track autograph session and live music from “Forgotten Highway” following qualifying. Kenseth will not be available during the on-track autograph session due to a commitment to his fan club event.
The 15th annual Matt Kenseth Fan Club party will also be taking place on Tuesday at MIS. A special ticket must be purchased through the Fan Club and includes a general admission grandstand ticket to the race, admission to the MKFC Party Tent, autograph session, question and answer session with Matt, food, drink, and lots of great door prizes including hot laps around Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile in the MIS two seater driven by Matt. Tickets are $50.00 per person and are only available through the Matt Kenseth Fan Club and are available to Fan Club members only.
There will also be events taking place on Monday during the day and evening.
On Monday the Matt Kenseth Fan Club will host an Open House at their Cambridge facility. Matt will sign autographs for fans beginning at 3:00 PM. Wristbands will be distributed at the store from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This event is free and open to the public.
An open practice session for the race teams will also take place at MIS on Monday night from 5:00 – 8:00 with $20.00 pit passes and free grandstand admission.
Adult tickets on Tuesday are $20.00 with Seniors (60+) and Students (12-17) at $18.00 with kids 11 and under $5.00. Pit passes for drivers / teams are $35.00 with general public pit passes at $50.00.
