ARCA Jam is finally here at Madison International Speedway as 30 teams will be making their way to Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile, many for the first time.
Two days of exciting racing action that also includes our very own American Ethanol Super Trucks gets started at 1:00 PM this afternoon with a pair of practice sessions for both the cars and the trucks.
Qualifying is set for 4:30 PM with the ARCA cars on tap first. The ARCA track record of 18.039 could be in jeopardy today as some of the top drivers in the country wheel their way around the half-mile at Madison. Will it be last year’s winner Kyle Benjamin or the legendary Frank Kimmel or one of the many young stars of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards who sets the fast pace.
Following qualifying the American Ethanol Super Trucks will be competing in Twin 30 lap races. This will be a points event for the trucks who race regularly at Madison. The overall finishing positions and points will be determined by the combined finish in the two races. Blake Brown is the current Madison point leader in the truck division.
After the truck races the pre-race party begins in the VIP area. The party includes live entertainment, the Bristol race on big screen televisions, and all you can eat and drink. A special ticket is required for the party. An all-inclusive $40.00 ticket is available that includes the party and two days of racing. Fans who purchased an $18.00 two day pass can pay $22.00 for the party while a ticket purchase at Menards can be upgraded for $20.00.
