Nason, Trute, and Papini Winners on Salute to America Night

Austin Nason of Roscoe, Illinois, won the 48 lap feature for the Big 8 Late Models on Friday night. He held off Bobby Wilberg to pick up the victory in the twenty-three car field.

The Great Northern Sportsman Series came to town and nineteen drivers gave it their best shot on Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile. When the 25 lap feature was done, it was Dave Trute of New Lisbon, Wisconsin, coming home the winner.

The Midwest Dash Series put on a great show for the fans with sixteen cars in action. Alex Papini of Machesney Park, Illinois, ran away from the field enroute to a clean sweep.

Once again ThunderCat did an incredible job with the fireworks presentation. Somehow they seem to be able to outdo themselves each year.
