Driver Orientation Meeting Set for April 1st

Drivers planning to race in the weekly program at Madison International Speedway or the Super Late Model Triple Crown Challenge in 2015 should plan to attend the Driver Orientation Meeting at the Stoughton VFW (Highway 51 and County N) on Wednesday, April 1st. Rookie drivers will meet at 6:00 PM followed by a general meeting at 7:00 PM. Doors will open at 5:30 PM.

Racing procedures will be presented and drivers may purchase NASCAR Whelen All-American Series licenses, reserve pit stalls for the 2015, and discuss the upcoming season. Representatives from NASCAR and American Racer will also be on hand to answer any questions.

Teams are reminded that a tire sale will be held on Thursday, April 9th at the track from 5-8 PM. A clean up day / pot luck is scheduled at the track for April 18th.

The season opener is set for Sunday, May 3rd with the Joe Shear Classic / ARCA Midwest Tour comes to town for the Joe Shear Classic plus the Mid American Stock Car Series, and Midwest Trucks will also be in action. A practice day for those divisions will be held on Saturday, May 2nd.

The rain date for the “Classic” is Friday, May 8th. If the rain date is not needed it will be an open practice-for any cars / trucks racing at Madison in 2015.

An additional practice date is scheduled for Thursday, May 14th for all Madison divisions.

Racing “Under the Lights on Friday Nights” returns on May 15th with the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Models, Sportsman, and Bandits all in action along with the Legends.
